A local Tavern at the heart of any village for the greatest Cypriot traditional experience. There are many Taverns on our books, but we have an exclusive venue to offer. Only a 10 drive from the heart of Paphos, this village tavern will allow you to totally immerse yourself in local history, tradition and charm. Set in the village square, opposite the quaint Orthodox Church, a vine covered terrace and mountainous backdrops; this tavern is set in an original building (once this was a local coffee shop and school) and it really delivers a real Cypriot environment. Delicious menus which include a Cypriot outdoor Souvla (BBQ), and refreshing local village wine, it is a total Cyprus experience.
There is also an option here for the couple to go into the Greek Orthodox Church opposite the venue and receive a blessing by the village priest, to wish them well in their marriage. There is no fee for the blessing – but a small donation to the Church is advised. This is really unforgettable event.
